Why A Branson Church Group?

First of all, Branson contains more than 100 churches and was the subject of Harold Bell Wright’s 1907 novel Shepherd of the Hills, but this is only one component of the religious activities the city has to offer your Branson church group. There is:

  • Shepard of the Hills Old Mill Outdoor Theater- This activity portrays the 1907 novel of the same name by Harold Bell Wright. The production performs each evening with more than 80 actors, 40 horses, various forms of firearms, livestock and a log cabin which is actually set on fire.

  • Sights and Sound Theater – Brand new for this year, Jonah first hit the stage in Lancaster County, Pa and has delighted nearly a million viewers to date. Implementing outstanding vocals and an incredible light show, Jonah relays the story of one of God’s prophets more than 700 years before Christ was born.

  • Dudu Fisher Presents Jerusalem – Fans of Les Miserables are familiar with Fisher as the voice of Jean Valjean. He has performed on Broadway, in his native Israel and now in Branson for the last two years. Jerusalem tells the tale of that holy city through 18 songs, various visual effects and with an outstanding group of musicians.

  • Young Christians Weekend at Silver Dollar City – Church groups from all across the United States converge on Silver Dollar City for one weekend in March for Christian Rock concerts, religious audio displays and to enjoy the theme park.

  • Southern Gospel Picnic- At the end of every August, Branson hosts this music festival which headlines the biggest names in Southern Gospel. It also features some of the best southern cuisine.

  • Southern Gospel Nights – As Silver Dollar City closes each evening, gospel singers take the stage in the Echo Hollow Amphitheater, which can seat more than 4,000 viewers.

  • Living Word National Bible Museum – This not-for-profit facility depicts the history of the Bible and offers 75 ancient versions of this text.
