Many of Branson’s biggest Summer events take place at Silver Dollar City between May and August. Moonlight Madness is definitely one of those events. The park stays open until midnight and so do the rides! The views of the park, the city of Branson and the Ozark Mountains atop one of SDC’s many rollercoasters is truly a experience you want during your lifetime. Adults and kids alike love the high-speed roller-coasters like WildFire, Thunderation, Outlaw Run, Powder Keg, The Giant Barn Swing, American Plunge and many more. There’s also rides and areas exclusively catering to the littlest ones of your group like the all-new Firemen’s Landing with its ‘firehouse’ theme complete with a real dalmation mascot! During Moonlight Madness, you get to experience all the thrills and good times until its officially the next day!

Otherwise, here’s a bit of help with your choice! Be sure to visit during Midnight Madness if… you love the Silver Dollar City thrill rides and want the opportunity to experience them in the dark – it’s a totally different feeling than riding during the day since you can’t see the track and everything around you is just a blur of darkness! Midnight Madness is also a great choice if you want to take advantage of the cooler evening temperatures! With twelve or more hours of ride time each day of Midnight Madness, it’s the perfect event for thrill ride fans to fit in multiple rides on their favorite attractions before summer is over!
