SIX is made up of six real-life brothers who have their own show in Branson, Missouri. Dubbed an “orchestra of human voices”, SIX was awarded Branson’s “Best New Show” ’07, “Best Show” ’08, ’09 and ’10, “Entertainers of the Year” ’09 and ’10!
More About the SIX Show
SIX started out young singing in church and then began singing in various rotary clubs under the direction of their father. As they became older however, they began to take their music career much more seriously and in 1987, moved out to Southern California from Phoenix, AZ and began street singing in and around LA wherever anyone would listen. Street singing turned out to be a great source for g
etting work. SIX soon began appearing at Hollywood A-list parties for such notables as Aahhhnold the Governator, Clint Eastwood, Joel Silver, Warren Beatty and many others. They landed a couple of bit parts and extra work in some movies like Action Jackson, Fatal Beauty 16 Again as well as others and began playing at Bubbles a swank night club in Balboa-Newport Beach, CA. SIX was not satisfied and began developing their act into what it now is. They began experimenting with different sounds and different concepts. In 1988, they began using an electronic drum machine for a while-yeah, a drum machine but the Yamaha drum machine didn’t talk back or argue ever however, if the boys wanted to improvise a little, it simply couldn’t. They even began touring with a full backup band for a while and yeah, those guys could improvise but they sure could talk back and they were expensive. At the end of 1994 they settled on the SIX man vocal band concept and it has served them very well. Within a year and half they all quit their day jobs and began performing full time. They landed lucrative work in the corporate market performing for corporations like FedEx AMEX, Pizza Hut, Pitney Bowes and many others. In 1998 Royal Carribean Cruise Lines called and began booking them. They quickly rose to “Headline Status” and became an RCCL favorite. In January of 2004 they began appearing in Las Vegas at the Alladin. After playing in Las Vegas for nearly three years, SIX turned their eye towards Branson, MO.
