Holidays in the Ozarks are a special time of year & 2023 is shaping up to be quite the spectacle with new adventures as well as twists on some of your old favorites! The sights, sounds and smells of Christmas fill the air from the Branson Landing down Highway 76 all the way to Silver Dollar City’s holiday spectacular An Olde Time Christmas. Branson Landing’s Winter Wonderland – Nov. 4th – Dec. 31st

A 63 foot tall christmas tree adorns the Town Square and stands as the centerpiece to the Branson Landing’s Winter Wonderland transformation. From the thousands upon thousands of lights to the splendid decor, you can take a quick stroll down the boardwalk or spend a whole day shopping and eating!  No admission fee required.

Branson Scenic Railway presents Polar Express – Nov. 3rd – Dec. 23rd

This attraction has 2 things kids love, trains and Santa Claus! Take the family on the Branson Scenic Railway’s Polar Express as you wind your way through the Ozark Mountains on your way to the North Pole to pickup jolly ole Kris Kringle. Guests enjoy book reading, a visit by Santa plus a gift, cookies and hot chocalte and much more. Dolly Parton’s Stampede Christmas – Oct. 26th – Dec. 31st

Dolly Parton’s Christmas Stampede show in Branson has become a staple, bringing high-end production, live animals and a tasty meal as you take it all in. Preferred seating is usually taken quickly so reserve tickets early at (800) 432-4202.

Downtown Branson’s Annual Adoration Parade – Dec. 4th @ 5PM

The Adoration Parade is the longest running annual event in town. It celebrates the birth the reason for the season, the birth of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Promised Land Zoo’s Christmas including Santa’s Reindeer – Nov. 1st – Dec. 31st

Branson’s drive-thru zoo is set aglow starting November 1s with more than 11,000 feet of lights spread throughout the nearly 75 acre park.

Shepherd of the Hill’s North Pole Adventure – Nov. 10th – Dec. 30th

Over 25 family activities create the North Pole Adventure at the legendary Shepherd of the Hills park. Its open from 3pm to 10pm daily except on Christmas Day until 9pm. Silver Dollar City’s An Olde Time Christmas – Nov. 4th – Dec. 30th

Branson & one of America’s Top Christmas Events is none other than Silver Dollar City’s very own An Olde Time Christmas. With its millions of stunning lights & displays, animatronics, delicious foods & drinks, parades, music and more culminate in a time like any other in the Ozarks & beyond.

 

 

 

Showboat Branson Belle’s Santa’s Pancakes & PJ’s – Dec. 3rd, 9th – 10th, 16th – 17th, 23rd @ 8AM & 11:30AM

Branson’s Showboat Branson Belle joins the Branson Christmas tradition with Santa’s Pancakes & PJ’s featuring a delicious breakfast, activites, entertainment and cruise on Table Rock Lake with jolly ole Saint Nick! Showtimes are at 8am & 11:30am on select dates so reserve tickets early at (800) 432-4202 so you dont miss out.

Wolfe Mountain Snow Tubing – Open until Jan. 5th, 2023

Sledding, skiing and snow tubing are some of the most fun things you can do anytime of year, anywhere. Luckily, the smart people out at Wolfe Mountain installed a revolutionary new tubing system called “Snowflex” which doesn’t require freezing temperatures to emulate the slick conditions of actual snow. It also has the added bonus of being softer to land on than snowpack.

Christmas themed Branson shows can also be seen around town during the holiday months. Some of the best include the Haygoods, Texas Tenors, Pierce Arrow, Clay Cooper, The Duttons, Baldknobbers, Doug Gabriel, Grand Jubilee and more at the Grand Country Theatre, Rick Thomas, SIX, #1 Hits of the 60s, Hamner’s Unbelievable just to name a few.
